A lovely bilingual family is seeking a French-speaking Nanny to join their household two days per week. The role begins as a supportive mother’s help for a 16-week-old baby while Mum is on maternity leave, transitioning to sole care at the end of the year.

You will be responsible for following schedules and nap times, planning age-appropriate activities, encouraging development through sensory play, local classes and park trips, and nursery drop off/pick ups for the older child. For the right candidate, an extra 10 hours are available for housekeeping and nursery runs for the family’s three-year-old.

Candidates must be comfortable commuting via a cargo bike, which will be provided by the family. With a flexible start date available, this is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and nurturing professional to grow with a young family and provide long-term continuity of care.

Working hours: 2 days per week - 8:00 am to 6:00 pm (flexible on the days for the right candidate). Happy to offer 10 additional hours on other days for housekeeping and nursery drop-offs/pick-ups.

Duties include:

  • preparing milk
  • organising the child’s daily schedule
  • changing nappies
  • cleaning and sterilising bottles
  • setting up nap routine
  • washing and dressing the child
  • playing with the child
  • taking track of the child’s development and updating the parents
  • making sure the child is always safe and happy
  • maintaining a clean environment for the child
  • doing laundry and ironing the child’s clothes
