A Clapham-based family is looking for a Part-time Nanny to take care of their lovely baby. All general nanny duties are required in this role. Both parents have busy jobs, but will be around (mum is still occasionally breastfeeding). They have a large, boisterous dog, so a dog lover is preferred. A friendly, easygoing and flexible nanny who is comfortable with both parents working from home is required. A valid first-aid qualification is needed for this position.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday/Friday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Duties:

  • Take the baby out and about to the park, play groups and the library.
  • Plan age-appropriate activities for the baby.
  • Support the baby with separation anxiety and provide comfort as needed.
  • Housekeeping and cooking related to the child.
  • Preparing healthy and varied meals for the child.
  • Organising the child’s daily schedule.
  • Changing nappies.
  • Cleaning and sterilising bottles.
  • Setting up nap routine.
  • Washing and dressing the child.
  • Playing with the child.
  • Tracking the child’s development and updating the parents.
  • Making sure the child is always safe and happy.
  • Organising the child’s clothes.
  • Doing laundry and ironing the child’s clothes.
  • Making sure the child’s room is always clean.
  • Occasional grocery shopping for the child’s supplies.
