Responsibilities:
- Maintain the house clean while caring for the school-aged child.
- Perform household duties such as ironing, laundry, caring for important items, hoovering, mopping floors, cleaning windows, cupboards, surface tops, kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms.
- Create fun and interactive ways to develop the child’s academic skills.
- Prepare meals for the child.
- Support the child with severe and complex learning difficulties, autism and anxiety.
- Use empathy, kindness, fun, initiative, patience and a nurturing spirit to create joyful routines.
Work Monday to Friday, 12:00 pm/1:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with autism, learning disabilities and anxiety in children/young adults preferred but not essential.
- Full UK driver’s licence and clean DBS check.
- First Aid certified (SEN training a plus).
- Warm, proactive, reliable; references essential.
- Valid first-aid qualification.
