Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the house clean while caring for the school-aged child.
  • Perform household duties such as ironing, laundry, caring for important items, hoovering, mopping floors, cleaning windows, cupboards, surface tops, kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms.
  • Create fun and interactive ways to develop the child’s academic skills.
  • Prepare meals for the child.
  • Support the child with severe and complex learning difficulties, autism and anxiety.
  • Use empathy, kindness, fun, initiative, patience and a nurturing spirit to create joyful routines.

Work Monday to Friday, 12:00 pm/1:00 pm to 6:30 pm.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with autism, learning disabilities and anxiety in children/young adults preferred but not essential.
  • Full UK driver’s licence and clean DBS check.
  • First Aid certified (SEN training a plus).
  • Warm, proactive, reliable; references essential.
  • Valid first-aid qualification.
