This lovely family based in New Malden, London, is looking for a Part-time Nanny-Housekeeper to maintain their house organised while taking care of their 2 school-aged children. All general Nanny-Housekeeping duties are required in this role.
Ideal candidate must be a self-starter who enjoys organising and can anticipate the needs of a busy family. Must be comfortable around dogs and animals. Must be happy to walk 15 minutes to school and walk the dog regardless of the weather. A valid first-aid qualification is required.
Working Hours
- Thursday: 9:30 am until 5:30 pm.
- Friday: flexible, approximately 2 to 4 hours.
Duties
- Proactive organising of communal areas, playrooms, and bedrooms to ensure the house is neat and clutter-free.
- Laundry & ironing: Managing the family laundry cycle, including washing, hanging, folding, and ironing.
- Deep cleaning/upkeep: Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in key areas (kitchen, bathrooms, etc.).
- Pet care: Walking the family dog on Thursdays.
- Childcare (Thursdays only)
- School pick-up: Walking to the local school (approx. 15-minute walk each way) to collect the children.
- Meal prep: Preparing healthy, simple dinners for the children.
- Supervision: Overseeing the children after school until the parents finish work.
Job Type: Part Time, Permanent.
Salary: Up to £20 gross per hour.
