A lovely Italian family, based in Canning Town, is seeking a native/fluent Italian-speaking nanny-housekeeper for their 6-year-old child, who is starting Year 2. Both parents work full-time. The role will involve childcare alongside general housekeeping duties. The ideal candidate will be warm, proactive and organised, with experience caring for school-aged children and confident in supporting homework and after-school activities. The family has a dog, so a pet-friendly candidate is ideal - they will only be required to feed the dog.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, approximately 30–35 hours per week | Two days, 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm and three days, shorter hours, TBC
Duties include:
- Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping the floors
- Dusting and polishing furniture
- Cleaning the bathrooms and kitchen
- Loading and unloading the dishwasher
- Ensuring their home is clean, tidy and organised
- School pick-up
- Preparing healthy snacks and meals
- Engaging and organising fun after-school activities
- Keeping the child's bedrooms and play areas clean and tidy
The family is looking for someone to start at the end of August.
