Overview
A busy family based in Hemel Hempstead, Hertfordshire, is looking for a Part-time Housekeeper to start immediately and make sure their property is always clean and organised. All general housekeeping duties required. The housekeeper will also be expected to cook and prepare meals for the family. They have rabbits, and it would be really helpful if the housekeeper could hoover the enclosure when required.
Working hours
Ideally 6 hours on Monday and Friday and 3 hours on Wednesday, but some flexibility about how the hours are split. Total of 15 hours per week.
Duties
- Maintaining a clean family home
- Organising and tidying
- Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors
- Dusting and polishing the furniture and fittings
- Cleaning wash basins, bathtubs and showers
- Deep cleaning the kitchen
- Washing clothes
- Unloading the laundry and organising the clothes
- Ironing
- Making up the beds and changing the linens
- Washing the dishes and loading/unloading the dishwasher
- Cleaning the windows and mirrors
The family is looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
