The role offers part-time hours immediately, moving to a full-time schedule in May to allow for a familiarisation period before taking sole charge of the property during the family’s summer break. A driver would be a bonus.
During this time, the ideal candidate will be responsible for meticulously organising the new house to ensure it is fully 'ready to live in' for their return. The role will then involve duties such as:
- Dusting and mopping the floors
- Doing the laundry and ironing
- Polishing the furniture
- Cleaning the windows
- Organising and maintaining their wardrobes
- Running errands such as grocery shopping
- Preparing a variety of healthy meals, following recipes
- Dry cleaning
- Weekly deep cleans of the kitchen and bathrooms
- Unloading and loading the dishwasher
A standout feature of this position is the outdoor and animal care; the family requires someone confident in maintaining a small vegetable patch and caring for their dog, as well as additional animals following the move. While the family employs a nanny, the candidate must be child-friendly and happy to work alongside the existing team. This is a position for a dedicated professional who enjoys a varied role encompassing both meticulous indoor management and active outdoor upkeep.
Working Hours: 5 days per week, 8 hours per day - Mum is flexible on days and hours; however, weekend availability would be a huge bonus! Part-time hours available until May.
