A lovely family based in Islington, London, is looking for a Full-time Nanny-Housekeeper to care for their two school-aged children and maintain a clean, organised home. Someone who speaks Tagalog would be a big bonus. The role includes all general nanny-housekeeping duties, as well as walking and caring for their two friendly dogs. The family travels to Mallorca for a few weeks each year. Sometimes, the nanny-housekeeper may be invited to travel with them, while at other times, they may be asked to remain and look after the home and pets. Their current nanny-housekeeper, who has been with them for eight years, will be leaving in October. The ideal candidate will have a strong record of long-term employment and be confident around pets. A valid first-aid qualification is needed for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 1:00 pm. More for the right candidate.
Duties include:
Ensure the children\’s safety, well-being, and development
Assist with school runs, homework, and after-school routines
Plan engaging activities like reading, arts and crafts, outdoor play, and educational games
Support baby care: feeding, nappy changes, sleep routines, and hygiene
Prepare healthy meals and snacks
Keep children\’s bedrooms and play areas tidy
Manage children’s laundry and organise wardrobes
Handle light housekeeping: vacuuming, mopping, making beds, dishes, and basic cleaning
Walk and care for pets, including feeding and light grooming
Arrange occasional outings or day trips
Be a warm, reliable, and nurturing support to the family
