Nanny for school pick-ups, Job ID J23063
A family based in Hammersmith, London, is looking for looking for a warm, energetic, nurturing and academically oriented Afterschool Nanny to care for their school-aged child. The family would love to find someone who can build a close, trusting relationship with the child and encourage his curiosity and confidence, and make learning enjoyable.
A valid first aid qualification is needed for this position.
Working hours: Monday - Friday 3:00 PM - 7:30 PM. Full days in school holiday 8:30 AM - 7:30 PM (11 weeks of the year)
Duties include:
Collecting our son from school and accompanying him to after-school activities (currently gymnastics and football), playdates and outings.
Planning stimulating, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning, creativity, confidence and independence, including outdoor play and exploration.
Supporting early literacy, numeracy, reading and writing through engaging, playful activities.
Organising playdates, encouraging friendships and supporting our son's social
Establishing positive routines, good manners and consistent boundaries.
Managing dinner, bath time and the evening routine.
The family is looking for someone who can start on 4 January 2027.
