Overview Muswell Hill-based family seeking an After-school Nanny to care for a toddler and a school-aged child. General nanny duties required. Bonus if the candidate will cook for the family, though not a deal breaker. A toy poodle is in the home; dog walking would be a bonus. Ideal candidate will be seeking a long-term commitment and able to stay with the family for many years. A valid first-aid qualification is required.
Responsibilities Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children
Wash and dress the children
Help with homework
Engage in after-school activities with the children
Prepare recreational activities that support physical and mental development
Maintain a clean and tidy environment for the children
Do arts and crafts with the children
Take the children to parks and playgrounds
Prepare the children for bed and read them stories
Requirements Valid first-aid qualification
Willingness to commit long-term and stay with the family for many years
Ability to work Monday to Thursday from 3:30 pm to 6:30 pm, with potential extra morning hours from 8:00 am to 10:00 am
Experience with toddlers and school-aged children is preferred
Comfort with and care for a family pet (toy poodle); dog walking is a bonus
