A lovely family based in the Isle of Dogs, London is looking for a Live-in Nanny to provide attentive care for their charming toddler. An ideal candidate will be someone experienced, caring, and easygoing with a basic understanding of child development. The role involves all general childcare duties. - Working hours: Monday to Friday from 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm, 50 hours per week
- Accommodation: Same room as the baby, double bed, own room
Duties
- Assisting with nappy changes and preparing bottles for infants
- Bathing the children and ensuring proper hygiene is maintained
- Ensuring the safety, well-being, and healthy development of the children
- Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
- Encouraging early literacy through regular reading and storytelling
- Assisting with homework and supporting the children’s academic progress
- Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to promote structure and development
- Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children’s needs
- Keeping the children’s bedrooms, play areas, and general spaces clean, tidy, and well-organised
- Handling the children’s laundry, including washing, ironing, and folding
- Occasionally shopping for children’s essentials and household supplies
