A lovely family based in Hampshire is looking for a warm and experienced live-in full-time nanny to care for their two school-aged children. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of nannying experience, a valid paediatric first aid qualification, and be a confident driver of both automatic and manual cars. They are seeking someone committed and ambitious, with a background in teaching being a desirable advantage. A strong history of longevity in previous roles is highly valued.
Working hours: Term time, 35 hours per week, from 7 am until 9 am, 3:30 pm until 6:30 pm, while on school holidays it will be full-time
Accommodation: Separate annex with own room/bathroom, and kitchen.
Duties include:
Bathing the children and ensuring they maintain good personal hygiene
Ensuring the children’s safety, well-being, and overall development
Engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outings such as park visits
Encouraging early literacy through regular reading sessions
Assisting with homework and supporting the children’s academic progress
Establishing and maintaining consistent routines to promote healthy structure and development
Keeping the children’s bedrooms and play areas clean, tidy, and well-organised
Preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children, and occasionally for the whole family
The start date is on the 28th of August 2025, though they\’re happy to be flexible for the right candidate.
