Overview
A fantastic family based in Camden, London, is seeking a Live-in Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and organisation of their home while preparing healthy meals for the family. The ideal candidate will be reliable, organised, and hardworking, with the ability to take initiative in carrying out all general housekeeping duties. Travel with the family is optional but not essential. The candidate must also be child-friendly.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining the cleanliness and general upkeep of the household
- Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
- Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces
- Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
- Carrying out regular cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen
- Washing, drying, and organising clothes and household linens
- Managing all laundry duties, including ironing and folding
- Making beds and changing bed linen as required
- Cleaning and organising dishware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
- Preparing simple, healthy family meals
- Providing general care for the family’s pets
Requirements / Qualifications
• Live-in role with accommodation on a beautiful spacious staff floor, own bedroom and bathroom
• Working hours: Sunday to Thursday, 8 to 10 hours per day
• Location: Camden, London
• Travel with the family is optional but not essential
