Overview
A fantastic family in Southampton is looking for a Live-in Housekeeper to help them maintain the cleanliness of their property and prepare healthy meals for the family. Someone who can work alone and unsupervised, energetic and ready for a challenge is a must. There is another full-time housekeeper and a part-time housekeeper who covers days off. Someone child and pet-friendly is required.
Working arrangements
Working hours: 5 days a week / Thursday to Monday, 10 hours per day.
Accommodation: Beautiful 2-bedroom Cottage (Available in 3 months) - in the meantime, the family can offer temporary accommodation within a short distance.
Duties
- Ensuring the cleanliness and general upkeep of a private residence
- Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
- Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and various surfaces
- Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
- Carrying out regular cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen
- Washing, drying, and organising clothing and household linens
- Managing all laundry duties, including ironing and folding
- Making beds and changing bed linen as required
- Cleaning and organising dishware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
- Preparing simple, healthy meals for the family
- Providing general care for the family’s friendly pets
