A lovely family in Kennington, London, is seeking an energetic Housekeeper to join their household. The role will primarily focus on housekeeping duties, working alongside. All general housekeeping tasks are expected. The family has pets, so they are looking for someone who is comfortable with pet care as part of the role.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 7am - 7pm (with multiple breaks through the day)
Accommodation: Separate bedroom with an En suite bathroom.
Duties include:
- Maintaining the cleanliness and overall upkeep of a private residence
- Performing routine floor care, including sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping
- Dusting and polishing furniture, fixtures, and other household surfaces
- Cleaning and sanitising bathrooms, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
- Carrying out regular cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen
- Washing, drying, and organising clothing and household linens
- Managing all laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
- Making beds and changing bed linen as needed
- Cleaning and organising dishware, including loading and unloading the dishwasher
- Preparing simple, healthy meals for the family
- Providing general care for the family’s friendly pets
