A warm and supportive household based in Pimlico, London, is seeking a Live-in Housekeeper to help maintain the cleanliness and organisation of their home. The ideal candidate will be reliable, discreet, kind, and well-organised, capable of carrying out all general housekeeping duties while also providing companionship when needed.
Working arrangements
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with flexibility
- Accommodation: Own bathroom and bedroom, in the basement, opening onto patio
Duties
- Taking full responsibility for the overall care and maintenance of the household
- Mopping and polishing floors as required
- Dusting and cleaning all surfaces throughout the home
- Preparing and cooking meals for the client
- Freshening and airing out rooms on a regular basis
- Managing the client’s laundry and ironing
- Preparing light refreshments such as tea and coffee
- Hoovering carpets and floors
- Ensuring all bedrooms are kept clean, tidy, and well-presented
- Cleaning and maintaining toilets and bathrooms to a high standard
- Carrying out grocery shopping and running household errands as needed
- Organising cupboards and wardrobes, and changing bed linen regularly
