A family based in Leatherhead requires a dedicated, detail-oriented, and energetic Full-time Housekeeper to join their household on a live-in basis. This is a long-term position suited to someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, organised, and welcoming home. A confident driver is required.
The family has three school-aged children - no immediate childcare is required; however, someone who is available when the parents are away to help the nanny is required, which will be paid overtime. The youngest has Autism; SEN experience is not an immediate requirement, but someone aware of the nuances would be preferred.
Accommodation: Staff quarters, with their own bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, living room and a separate staircase to the main house.
Working hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 7 am to 7 pm, with a 2-hour break.
Duties include:
- dusting and mopping the floors
- doing the laundry and ironing
- polishing the furniture
- cleaning the windows
- organising and maintaining their wardrobes
- running errands such as grocery shopping
- preparing a variety of healthy meals, following recipes
- dry cleaning
- weekly deep cleans of the kitchen and bathrooms
- unloading and loading the dishwasher
