This lovely family in Yarm, North Yorkshire, is seeking a proactive and versatile part‑time Housekeeper to assist them in settling into a new home. The role focuses on laundry management, drawer reorganization, and general tidying. While the household employs a bi‑weekly cleaner, the Housekeeper will occasionally clean bathrooms and change bed linen as needed, handle light food preparation, cook occasionally, and run local errands such as parcel collection. The Housekeeper may also be asked to occasionally oversee the family's child.
Working hours: Monday 4‑7 pm, Wednesday 4‑7 pm, Thursday 10 am‑2:30 pm or 4‑7 pm, Friday 6‑8 pm.
Duties include:
- Weekly deep cleans of the kitchen
- Load and unload the dishwasher
- Change the bed sheets
- Care of antiques
- Polish the furniture and silverware
- Organise and maintain wardrobes
- Hoover and mop the floors
- Clean bathroom sinks and mirrors
- Fold away ironed clothes
