A lovely family in Cotswold is looking for a compassionate, high-energy Nanny Housekeeper to join their busy household with five children (ages 5 to 9). This is a primarily housekeeping-focused role (80% HK / 20% Nanny) during term time, shifting to a more balanced 50/50 split during school holidays. Managing a substantial six-bedroom, three-story home, the role requires a meticulous professional to handle all cleaning and laundry duties while also providing vital afternoon support, including school runs and childcare.
The ideal candidate would be an energetic, outdoorsy, and firm yet caring individual who is proactive. Someone open to occasional overnight shifts and to accompany three of the children on short trips to their grandparents in Devon during holidays would be a bonus.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday 11:00 am to 6:00 pm
Duties include:
- ironing
- laundry
- caring for important items
- hoovering
- mopping floors
- cleaning windows, cupboards, surface tops, kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms
- wardrobe management and organisation
- helping with learning
- washing and dressing the children
- playing with them
- changing nappies
- sterilising and cleaning milk bottles
- taking them to activities
- making sure the children are always safe and happy
