A family in Cobham, Surrey is seeking a full-time nanny-housekeeper to care for their two school-aged children and help maintain the cleanliness and organisation of their home. They are looking for someone who is calm and patient, yet energetic and capable of keeping up with the children’s routines while managing housekeeping duties related to them.
The role also includes cooking and preparing meals for the family. As the household has a small dog, a pet-friendly candidate would be ideal. A valid first aid qualification is essential for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Thursday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm, and Friday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm, around 32.5 to 43 hours per week. School holidays will be around 19.5 to 35 hours per week
Duties include:
Washing and bathing children
Responsible for the safety, wellbeing, care and development of the children
Providing healthy meals and snacks for the children
Tidying up children\’s bedrooms and play areas
Playing with the children and taking them to the park
Reading to and playing with the children
Helping with homework
Implementing daily routines
Maintaining a clean family home
Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors
Dusting and polishing the furniture and fittings
Cleaning wash basins, bathtubs and showers
Deep cleaning the kitchen
Washing clothes
Unloading the laundry and organising the clothes
Ironing
Making up the beds and changing the linens
Washing the dishes and loading/unloading the dishwasher
