This lovely family based in Hampstead, London, is seeking a Live-in Nanny Housekeeper to care for their baby while ensuring their home is kept clean, tidy, and well-organised. The ideal candidate will have strong newborn experience and be comfortable supporting the mother during the first three months, taking the baby on walks, and helping to establish routines. They will also manage all general housekeeping tasks in a three-bedroom home, including cleaning, laundry, organisation, simple meal preparation, and running errands. The position is expected to evolve into a more nanny-focused role as the baby grows, so a proactive, kind and reliable individual who can balance childcare and household duties is essential. A valid First Aid qualification is essential for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Saturday, 10:00 to 19:00 or 09:00 to 18:00
Accommodation: Spacious double bedroom with shared bathroom.
Duties include:
- Ensuring the safety, well-being, and development of the child
- Bathing and maintaining proper hygiene for the child
- Engaging the child in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
- Establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines to support the children’s structure and development
- Covering all housekeeping duties, including ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the residence
- Cleaning and sanitising bathroom facilities, including sinks, bathtubs, and showers
- Cleaning and maintaining the kitchen area
- Managing laundry tasks, including ironing and folding
- Making beds and replacing linens as needed
