A lovely family based in Tooting, London, is seeking an Afterschool Nanny to help care for their two children, a 2.5-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl. The ideal candidate will have strong childcare experience and will be warm, reliable, and confident caring for young children. Someone organised, proactive, and able to support the children’s after-school routine would be ideal for this role.
The nanny will be responsible for:
- Picking the children up from school
- Ensuring their safety and well-being
- Engaging them in interactive play, educational activities, reading, and outdoor outings such as visits to the park
- Supporting homework and encouraging early literacy
- Helping maintain consistent daily routines
- Keeping the children’s bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
- Assisting with the children’s laundry
- Encouraging the children to tidy up after themselves
- Preparing dinner and snacks for the children
A valid first aid certification is required for this role.
Working hours: Monday to Wednesday, 15:00 to 18:30, and Thursday, 15:00 to 19:30. Same hours during the school holidays, with ad hoc babysitting when required.
The family is looking for someone who can start on 1 September 2026.
