A family in Elmbridge, Surrey is looking for an after school nanny to look after their lovely school aged child. All general nanny duties are required in this role. Someone with SEN experience is needed, as the child has autism and attention deficit. The family also owns two cats and dog, so they also require pet care. Someone who knows how to drive their own car would be advantageous for this role.
A valid first aid qualification is a must for this position.
Working hours: 7 to 11 hours weekly for now, then 27.5 hours weekly from January
Duties
- collecting the child from school
- helping with homework
- preparing meals and snacks
- arranging playdates
- helping with homework
- playing age-appropriate games together
- reading stories to the child
- tidying away their toys after use – child to help
- helping with the evening routine, eg help child organise bags for the next day
- light laundry of child’s clothes
- occasional grocery shopping
