A lovely family is looking for a reliable and local Part-Time Afterschool Nanny for a long-term commitment starting this September, specifically to support their child. The role involves three days of care per week. As both parents work full time, the ideal candidate will be a dependable local professional capable of managing the 10-minute walk to school and providing engaging afternoon care. A driver would be a bonus. A valid first-aid qualification is required for this position.
Working hours: Tuesday, Thursday and a 3 day (Monday or Friday).
Duties include:
- collecting the child from school
- helping with homework
- preparing meals and snacks
- arranging playdates
- playing age-appropriate games together
- reading stories to the child
- tidying away their toys after use – child to help
- helping with the evening routine, eg help child organise bags for the next day
- light laundry of child’s clothes
- occasional grocery shopping
