A lovely family in Clapham is looking for a proactive, English-speaking, Afterschool Nanny to support their children’s development and daily routine. The responsibilities will centre on ensuring the children’s safety and well-being, preparing nutritious meals, providing homework support, and engaging them in stimulating educational play and extracurricular activities. The ideal candidate will be organised and reliable, happy to maintain tidy play areas and bedrooms while establishing a consistent, nurturing structure for the children. A valid first aid qualification is a must.

Working hours: 3 afternoons per week, 3:00 pm – 6:45 pm

Responsibilities

  • Collecting the children from school
  • Helping with homework
  • Preparing meals and snacks
  • Arranging playdates
  • Playing age-appropriate games together
  • Reading stories to the children
  • Tidying away their toys after use – children to help
  • Helping with the evening routine, e.g. help children organize bags for the next day
  • Light laundry of children’s clothes
  • Occasional grocery shopping
