A lovely family in Clapham is looking for a proactive, English-speaking, after-school nanny to support their children’s development and daily routine. The responsibilities will centre on ensuring the children’s safety and well-being, preparing nutritious meals, providing homework support, and engaging them in stimulating educational play and extracurricular activities. The ideal candidate will be organised and reliable, happy to maintain tidy play areas and bedrooms while establishing a consistent, nurturing structure for the children. A valid first aid qualification is a must.
Working Hours: 3 afternoons per week, 3:00 pm to 6:45 pm. The family would like someone starting 1 June 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Collect the children from school
- Help with homework
- Prepare meals and snacks
- Arrange playdates
- Play age-appropriate games together
- Read stories to the children
- Tidy away their toys after use – children to help
- Help with the evening routine, e.g., help children organise bags for the next day
- Light laundry of children’s clothes
- Occasional grocery shopping
Qualifications: English speaking, proactive, organised, reliable. Valid first aid qualification required.
