A family based in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, is seeking an After-school Nanny to care for their school-aged child. The ideal candidate will be calm and patient, yet energetic enough to keep up with the child and take charge of light housekeeping duties related to them. The role also involves cooking and preparing simple meals for the child. A driver with a full driving licence would be a bonus but is not essential. While there is a strong preference for French-speaking candidates, English-speaking applicants will also be considered. A valid first aid qualification is a requirement for this position.
Working hours: 4 days between Monday to Friday from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, approximately 15 hours per week
Duties include:
Collect the child from school
Assist with homework and reading
Prepare meals and snacks
Arrange playdates and age-appropriate games
Encourage tidying up toys together
Support the evening routine, including organising bags for the next day
Handle light laundry of the child’s clothes
Do occasional grocery shopping for the child’s needs
