Nanny to work in the afternoon
Job ID J230D3 - A lovely family based in Westminster, London, is seeking an experienced Afterschool Nanny to care for their school aged child. The ideal candidate will be warm, reliable, and organised. All childcare duties are expected. No cooking needed but can be a bonus if the nanny is wanting to prepare meals for the child. French or Portuguese speaker is a bonus.
A valid first aid certification is required for this role.
Working hours: Monday - Friday 3:00pm-7:00pm
Duties include:
- collecting the child from school
- helping with homework
- preparing meals and snacks
- arranging playdates
- helping with homework
- playing age-appropriate games together
- reading stories to the child
- tidying away their toys after use - child to help
- helping with the evening routine, eg help child organise bags for the next day
- light laundry of child's clothes
- occasionally grocery shopping
The family is looking for someone who can start on 23 November 2026.
Job Type: Part Time, Permanent
Salary: Up to £20 gross per hour
