This lovely family based in South Kensington in London is looking for a Part-time Nanny-Housekeeper to take care of their school-aged child while maintaining their house clean and tidy. All general Nanny-Housekeeping duties are required in this role. The family values healthy, nutritious food and would like the nanny to prepare family meals approximately three evenings per week. On Fridays, the nanny will also prepare meals/snacks for their daughter for the weekend.

Strong English is essential. A second language is considered a significant bonus, particularly French. Their child is sporty and energetic, so the family would value a nanny who enjoys an active lifestyle and can positively engage in sports and outdoor activities. The ideal candidate will be intellectually sharp, mature, and highly responsible. A valid first-aid qualification is needed for this position.

Working hours:

  • School term (35 weeks per year): Monday to Friday, 29 hours per week (afternoons - flexible on the exact hours)
  • School holidays (17 weeks): Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week.

Duties include:

  • ironing
  • laundry
  • caring for important items
  • hoovering
  • mopping floors
  • cleaning windows, cupboards, surface tops, kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms
  • assisting with homework
  • creating fun and interactive ways to develop the child's academic skills
  • preparing meals for the child
