This family residing in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, is looking for a Part-time Nanny-Housekeeper to maintain their house clean while taking care of their school-aged child. The child has severe and complex learning difficulties, autism and anxiety. However, she is bubbly and chatty and loves social interaction with known and caring adults. She likes a familiar routine but is open to trying new things and experiences. Must bring kindness, fun, initiative, patience, and a nurturing spirit to create joyful routines. Their home is loving but demanding due to parental workload and travel, sibling dynamics. Families value the warmth and reliability caregivers often bring. A valid first-aid qualification is needed for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 12:00 pm/1:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
Duties include:
- Proven experience with autism, learning disabilities, and anxiety in children/young adults preferred but not essential.
- Full UK drivers license and clean DBS check.
- First Aid certified; SEN training a plus.
- Warm, proactive, reliable; references essential.
- Ironing
- Laundry
- Caring for important items
- Hoovering
- Mopping floors
- Cleaning windows, cupboards, surface tops, kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms
- Create fun and interactive ways to develop the child's academic skills
- Prepare meals for the child
