This family residing in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, is looking for a Part-time Nanny-Housekeeper to maintain their house clean while taking care of their school-aged child. All general Nanny-Housekeeping duties are required in this role. The child has severe and complex learning difficulties, autism and anxiety. However, she is bubbly and chatty and loves social interaction with known and caring adults. She likes a familiar routine but is open to trying new things and experiences. Must bring kindness, fun, initiative, patience, and a nurturing spirit to create joyful routines. Their home is loving but demanding due to parental workload and travel, sibling dynamics. Families value the warmth and reliability caregivers often bring. A valid first-aid qualification is needed for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 12:00 pm/1:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
Duties include:
- Proven experience with autism, learning disabilities, and anxiety in children/young adults preferred but not essential.
- Full UK drivers license and clean DBS check.
- First Aid certified; SEN training a plus.
- Warm, proactive, reliable; references essential.
- Ironing
- Laundry
- Caring for important items
- Hoovering
- Mopping floors
- Cleaning windows, cupboards, surface tops, kitchens, bedrooms and bathrooms
- Create fun and interactive ways to develop the child's academic skills
- Prepare meals for the child
