Nursery Practitioner - Level 3 in Henley in Arden

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality childcare and early childhood education within a nurturing environment. The Nursery Practitioner will play a vital role in creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating environment that promotes learning and well-being for all children in our care. Responsibilities * Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that support children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development following the EYFS and development matters. * Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and organised activities to ensure their safety at all times * Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication and teamwork. * Maintain accurate records of children's progress, behaviour, and developmental milestones * Ensure the nursery complies with all health and safety regulations, including safeguarding policies * Support the organisation of daily routines and special events within the nursery setting * Assist in managing nursery resources and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment * Lead by example in demonstrating excellent childcare practices and professionalism Experience * Previous experience working with children within a nursery or early childhood education setting is essential * Strong understanding of child development principles and early childhood education frameworks * Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written * Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative and independence * Valid driving licence is advantageous This position offers an engaging work environment where your skills in childcare be valued.
