Little Mead Primary Academy is looking to appoint an inspirational, enthusiastic and talented SENCO to join us from September 2026 and play an active role in continuing our exciting journey as a school. This is a rare opportunity to join our dedicated, professional and fun team. The position has become available as the current post holder has been promoted within the Trust.
The school is in a great place with our systems and routines and is graded strong standard from Ofsted (2026) for inclusion, though there is still more to do to take us to the next level. Little Mead is a “joyful and vibrant place” where “pupils play, learn and laugh together happily (Ofsted 2026).” We are a primary school with the highest aspirations for every child. Our school, which includes a thriving Nursery, caters for all children from rising 3 to 11 years old. Compassion, empathy and a sense of belonging lie at the heart of our school and we are highly committed to working with families and the wider community to provide the best possible education.
With a superb site featuring a playing field, forest school, spacious playgrounds, drama and PE halls and a superbly equipped EYFS, we are proud to offer our students a rich and broad experience.
