Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead the end-to-end installation of our future venues across the UK and internationally. This role is responsible for turning designs into reality— managing builds from shell handover through to operational readiness. You will oversee multiple workstreams including scenic fabrication, AV & IT systems, lighting, power, networking, games hardware, theming, and show integration. You will be the key on-site authority during installs, coordinating internal teams and external contractors to deliver venues on time, on budget, and to brand and technical standards. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in complex environments and understands immersive attractions, live experiences, or themed entertainment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the physical installation of new venues from site access through to handover
  • Own all H&S related to project
  • Manage logistics, international shipping and delivery
  • Own the install programme, sequencing trades and systems to avoid clashes
  • Ensure builds meet design intent, safety standards, and operational requirements
  • Act as the primary on-site decision-maker during installs
  • Manage multiple contractors including scenic, AV, lighting, electrical, IT, and specialist suppliers
  • Chair daily site meetings and coordinate works across all disciplines
  • Hold contractors accountable for quality, timelines, and compliance
  • Escalate and resolve issues quickly and pragmatically
  • Track installation schedules against milestones
  • Manage install budgets and flag risks early
  • Identify efficiencies without compromising quality or safety
  • Maintain clear documentation, snag lists, and handover packs

Technical & Show Integration

  • Coordinate installation of immersive systems including projection, lighting, audio, control, networking, and game hardware
  • Work closely with internal technical teams to ensure systems integrate correctly
  • Support testing, commissioning, and soft‑opening phases
  • Ensure venues are genuinely “ready to operate” at handover

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Run all elements of H&S related to project
  • Enforce site health & safety standards at all times
  • Have thorough knowledge of current H&S practices CDM etc.
  • Ensure RAMS, permits, and certifications are in place
  • Work closely with landlords, consultants, and local authorities as required

Internal Collaboration

  • Liaise with design, creative, technical, operations, and marketing teams
  • Feed back practical learnings to improve future designs and rollouts
  • Support post‑opening defect resolution and optimisation

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience delivering complex installs (immersive attractions, live events, theatre, themed environments, exhibitions, or similar)
  • H&S qualification (NEBOSH or equivalent)
  • Experience of logistics, international shipping, local resourcing. Booking flights and accommodation
  • Strong understanding of AV, lighting, power, IT/networking, and scenic installs
  • Confident managing multiple contractors on live sites
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • Calm under pressure, solutions‑focused, and decisive
  • Willingness to travel internationally and work flexibly during install periods
  • Experience in immersive entertainment, attractions, museums, or live experience venues
  • International installation experience
  • Technical background (AV, show control, or systems integration)
  • Familiarity with commissioning and operational handover processes
  • Experience of working in Middle East and Asia

What Success Looks Like

  • Venues open on time with minimal last‑minute firefighting
  • Install teams are coordinated, informed, and productive
  • Systems work together cleanly from day one
  • Operations teams inherit venues that are robust, safe, and well‑documented

Why Join Us

  • Be trusted with real responsibility and autonomy
  • Shape how future venues are built and delivered
  • Join a fast‑growing company creating the next generation of location‑based entertainment
