Sous Chef – The Talbot, Brockley SE4
Little & Large Pub Company

Salary: £45,000 per annum package

Little & Large Pub Company are looking for an exceptional and creative Sous Chef for their neighbourhood gastro pub, The Talbot in London SE4 – Brockley / Lewisham.

The ideal candidate will come from a gastro pub & restaurant background with a love of working with fresh ingredients to deliver great dishes enjoyed by all.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sous Chef to work in an award-winning and critically acclaimed group.

You will be working alongside and supporting our Head Chef to produce and deliver a constantly changing seasonal menu.

We would love to hear from you if you possess the following qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a Sous Chef in a high-end restaurant or pub
  • Enthusiastic, dynamic, ready for a new challenge, and to learn new skills
  • Experienced Sous Chef or senior CDP who wants to step up
  • Able to quality control food and follow recipe specifications
  • Able to lead, train, and inspire a kitchen team in the absence of the Head Chef
  • Able to place orders, make prep lists, and hand over at the end of the shift
  • Understanding health and safety regulations, compliance, and procedures
  • Able to spot and resolve problems efficiently
