Salary - £50,000 per annum inclusive of Tronc

Bonus - £5,000 per annum performance related bonus

Little & Large Pub Company are looking for a talented General Manager to join the team at Leicester Arms Country Inn in Penshurst, Kent. The ideal candidate will come from a strong pub and restaurant background and be passionate about food and beverage, with sound knowledge about rooms.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced General Manager to work in an award-winning, critically acclaimed group.

The Leicester Arms, Penshurst, Kent, TN11 8BT:

  • Brand new site following a multi-million-pound refurbishment
  • State-of-the-art bar, kitchen, and working cellar
  • Full refurbishment of interiors, exteriors, bedrooms, and garden
  • 11 beautifully appointed boutique bedrooms
  • Aim to achieve Michelin Bib Gourmand, Estrella Top Gastro Pubs, Good Food Guide, and more

Ideal Candidate We Are Looking For:

  • Extensive experience in fine dining establishments with a focus on bedrooms
  • Expertise in crafting and curating beverage menus that complement the site's high standards
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the bar team, ensuring consistency and excellence in service delivery
  • Foster a culture of professionalism and continuous improvement within the bar staff
  • Design innovative, seasonal drink menus that highlight the restaurant's ethos and culinary offerings
  • Minimum of Level 2 WSET qualification or similar
  • Deep passion for great drinks, including cocktails, wines, and craft beers
  • Manage bar-related costs, ensuring financial targets are met without compromising on quality
  • Monitor inventory and optimise supply chains to minimise waste and maximise profitability
