We are expanding our team, recruiting for a new position at our setting. We are looking for caring, experienced and positive practitioners to join our expanding team, supporting children with additional needs. This person will ideally have experience of working in an Early years setting, will have a good understanding of children and experience in working with children with additional needs.
Responsibilities
- Support children with additional needs in an Early years setting.
- Contribute to a nurturing, calm, patient, and kind environment.
- Participate in delivering Early years care and education with a SEND focus.
- Work with the team across the setting and outdoor areas, encouraging play and development through curiosity and exploration.
- Engage in a child-led approach and nature-based activities where appropriate.
- Complete induction training and participate in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications/Experience
- Experience of working in an Early years setting.
- Experience in working with children with additional needs (SEND).
- Nurturing, calm, patient and kind nature; and a passion for Early years care and education.
- Willingness to participate in training and progression to higher qualifications.
