Unit Head of Pre-school room - 15 children - plan and carry out age appropriate activities for the room. To support the manager and carry out managerial tasks e.g. supervisions, paperwork, show rounds etc.
Responsibilities
- Help & Support current Manager.
- Plan and organise activities for preschool children.
- Good communication skills to talk to parents, current and new.
- Work as part of a team within a busy nursery.
- Carry out children’s personal care needs.
Skills and Qualifications
- Must hold Level 5 Qualification or above in Child Care.
- Must have at least 2 years experience within the child care industry.
- Good Communication Skills with Parents, Staff & Children.
- Music, Baking, Sports activities that can be carried forward to do with the children.
Further Information
- Covering Maternity Cover - up to at least 1 year.
- Working 4 days per week between Monday to Friday 10 hour shifts e.g. 7.15am - 5.15pm or 8.15am - 6.15pm.
- 3 paid breaks - 15 minutes in the morning & afternoon and 1x30 minute lunch time.
- Nursery based in the grounds of Altnagelvin hospital.
