ABOUT LITTLE KICKERS

Little Kickers runs toddler football classes for children aged 18 months to 8 years. We have two core beliefs that guide everything we do:

  • Play not Push — We teach football in a fun, pressure‑free environment, giving children a positive introduction to sport so they are more likely to stay healthy and active throughout their lives.
  • Football is educational — Coached in the right way, football stimulates imagination and supports early development skills including learning colours and numbers, following instructions and playing as a team.

THE ROLE

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Head Coach to lead our coaching team and bring our toddler football classes to life across all locations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and inspire our classes at a venue in our territory
  • Own the delivery of the Little Kickers coaching framework with excellence
  • Recruit, onboard and mentor junior coaches
  • Lead weekly session planning and curriculum review
  • Welcome and present classes to children and parents
  • Manage registers, parent communications and safeguarding logs
  • Liaise with franchise management on quality and performance standards

WHAT WE NEED

  • Proven experience coaching or teaching young children
  • Natural leadership — you lift those around you
  • Ability to control and maintain a lively, high‑energy class
  • Highly reliable with excellent time management
  • Valid DBS/CRB check and Safeguarding certificate (required)
  • First Aid qualified, or willing to obtain

DESIRABLE EXTRAS

  • FA coaching qualification (Level 1 or above)
  • Early years or childcare experience
  • Experience managing or coordinating a team
  • Sports coaching or teaching background
  • Knowledge of child development milestones
