Little Kickers Solihull are looking for part-time Football Coaches / Sports Coaches to deliver pre-school (18mths – 3.5yrs) and junior (4 -7yrs) football classes. We have 2 new coaching positions available for confident and out-going individuals who have a genuine desire to offer children a positive introduction to football. Candidates must be 18 years of age or over and be available to work on Saturday mornings on a regular basis. Ideally with own vehicle to transport kit.
Hours – Saturday and or Sunday mornings am pm)
Location – Solihull (B37 Marston green)
Lead Football Coach – (£ £16.00 per 30/45minute sessions)
- Plan and deliver engaging group football classes to children up to 8yrs as per the Little Kickers program (full training given)
- Supervision of the assistant coach or young workers at your session where appropriate and as requested by your employer.
- Monitoring and maintenance of a safe environment at all times during the session.
- If a nominated Kit Holder: Transportation, storage, and maintenance of all Little Kickers equipment necessary for the conduct of your allocated Little Kickers sessions
Minimum – 1 years consistent work experience required either as a Sports/Football Coach with FA Level 1/BTEC sports coaching or 1 years experience working with children on a regular basis ( Nursery teacher/ Teaching assistant)
Candidates for this role must be able to demonstrate;
- the right aptitude, energy and passion for coaching young children (under 7\’s)
- be able to communicate well with young children and parents
- physical fitness and stamina
- a personal commitment to sustaining professional working practices at all times including excellent timekeeping and punctuality skills
- be DBS checked
- ability to work as part of a team
- be willing to complete online and physical training as part of the Little Kickers coach development program.
