For Companies We are looking for a vibrant personality who has experience of teaching and leading young children in a sporting activity or similar. This is an exciting opportunity to join Little Kickers to deliver classes in and around Wilmington and Dartford and other areas nearby subject to availability.
The position is to lead classes every Sunday morning at a venue in Wilimington/Dartford. Classes are based around football skills for children from 18 months to 8 years of age.
We have other classes that run in the area on a Saturday if the person applying is interested n working both days of the weekends.
Training will be given in respect of the Little Kickers specific session planners, policies and procedures but, we are all applicants must be able to demonstrate suitable and similar previous experience.
- JOB ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead football based Classes for children 18 months to 8 years
- Ensure the safety of children and adults attending (venue set up)
- Take class registers
- Session plans provided by LK but lead coaches to prepare lesson and design
- Present quarterly award badge and certificates to the children
- Complete class registers (online)
- Exceptional customer service in keeping with LK training and policies
- Be professional, punctual, reliable and wear Company uniform and maintain equipment in good order
Requirements
- Must have at least one years previous experience of teaching children in a similar role
- Applicant will need to have an enhanced DBS check or meet the cost of their enhanced DBS check .
- Essential to have a vibrant, bubbly personality
- Must have a good command of the english language
- Reliable and punctual
- Available to work Sunday mornings as a minimum
- Apply if you are reliable, have an outgoing and fun personality and passionate about working with children and encouraging their participation in a physical activity that includes many early learning goals and preparation for grass roots football. Little kickers offer\’s a positive introduction to sport and would like applicants that are enthusiastic and bursting with energy.
- You will be required to carry a sports bag of equipment and pop up goals too and from the venues you are working at therefore driving will be a strong advantage.
- We are only looking for applicants who can offer a minimum commitment of at least six months but, ideally are looking for a long term role with great progression opportunities.
