Out of School Club Practitioner – Part Time at Little Green Rascals Children\’s Organic Day Nurseries.
Responsibilities
- Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
- Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
- Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
- Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
- Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
- Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others.

Pay and Working Hours
Pay: £12.21 per hour, based on experience.
Working Hours: Part-time 18 hours per week, 2:30pm–6:15pm, Monday to Friday.

About Our Nursery
Based in a listed former school building opposite Bishopthorpe library, our nursery has four rooms, three gardens, onsite Forest School, and an ethos of organic, freshly prepared meals. We operate an Out of School and Holiday Club attached to a local school with arts, crafts, and outdoor activities. We also have a nursery dog, Mabel, who is training to be a therapy dog.
