We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in early childhood education and have a genuine love for working with children. As the Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children while leading a team of childcare professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Develop and implement educational programmes that promote children's development in line with early years frameworks.
  • Lead, mentor, and support staff in delivering high-quality childcare and education.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on children's progress and addressing any concerns.

Qualifications

  • A full and relevant Level 3 qualification in childcare and 3 years' work experience with early years children within a management role.
  • Supervisory experience is essential.
  • Proven experience in early childhood education or childcare management is essential.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
  • A valid driving licence would be advantageous for any off-site activities or meetings.
