Salary: £33,783 per annum (£14.85 per hour). Contract: Full-time, all year round. Hours: 43.75 per week, Monday–Friday (between 07:00–18:00).
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Deputy Nursery Manager to join and help manage our amazing Ince setting! If you are passionate, hardworking, and ready to inspire both children and staff, Little Giggles needs YOU!
Entry Requirements
- A minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare (full and relevant)
- At least two years’ experience in a Deputy Management role
- Supervisory experience is essential
- Clear DBS check required
- (Desirable) Early Years Professional Status (EYPS) or Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS)

Key Responsibilities
Childcare & Education
- Provide high-quality day care for children aged 0–5 years, plus after-school and holiday club leadership
- Create a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment
- Work in partnership with colleagues, parents, and carers
- Keep detailed records and share progress updates with families
- Ensure equipment and resources are maintained to a high standard
Business & Leadership
- Recruit, support, and develop nursery staff
- Manage budgets effectively
- Plan and implement marketing strategies
- Maintain accurate records and management reports
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire, and safeguarding regulations
- Keep up to date with Early Years and Ofsted requirements
- Build strong relationships with local agencies, schools, and professionals
- Attend and contribute to training and development opportunities
- Work closely with the Nursery Owner and Area Manager to maintain excellence
