The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Early Years Room Leader to lead high-quality practice within our [Baby/Toddler&Pre-School] Room.
You will remain hands‑on with the children while leading and supporting your room team to provide a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day organisation of your room.
- Deliver high-quality EYFS practice.
- Maintain safe ratios and effective supervision.
- Lead strong key-person practice.
- Coach and support practitioners.
- Maintain excellent safeguarding standards.
- Support SEND and inclusive practice.
- Build positive relationships with parents.
- Maintain accurate children's records.
- Support planning, assessment and continuous improvement.
About You
Essential:
- Level 3+ relevant Early Years qualification.
- Early-years nursery experience.
- Good EYFS and safeguarding knowledge.
- Strong understanding of child development.
- Confidence leading and supporting a team.
- Warm, professional and child-centred approach.
Desirable:
- Room Leader/Senior Practitioner experience.
- Paediatric First Aid.
- SEND experience.
