The role and what you’ll be getting up to on a day to day basis:
Littlefish is looking for a confident, highly skilled IT Onsite Support Engineer who thrives in customer facing environments, solves problems others can’t, and brings strong technical capability across modern workplace technologies. In this pivotal role, you won’t just provide technical support — you’ll become the go‑to expert and trusted technical presence for one of Littlefish’s key customers. You will build strong relationships, understand their environment inside‑out, and become an essential extension of their team. Your ability to communicate clearly, solve problems quickly, and represent Littlefish with professionalism will be critical. This is a role for someone who takes pride in delivering consistent, high‑quality onsite support and who thrives when they are the face of service excellence on the customer’s premises.
You will:
- Deliver onsite and remote support for desktops, laptops, printers, applications, and Microsoft 365 services
- Own and progress technical incidents and service requests to SLA
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across Windows 10/11, Active Directory, Office 365, Exchange, Apple OSX/iOS and modern deployment tools (SCCM/WSUS/MDT)
- Support projects, installations, deployments, moves, adds and changes
- Work independently during quieter periods, using time effectively
- Maintain and grow your technical certifications and qualifications
- Represent Littlefish professionally, consistently, and with confidence
- Support across multiple sites
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across audio visual equipment
- Liaise with high profile members of the organisation and prioritise accordingly
What you bring:
- Previous experience in an IT support position (1st/2nd line)
- ITIL Foundation
- Microsoft certifications
- Understanding of networks and patching
- Experience in structured ITSM environments
- Strong, demonstrable problem-solving ability
- Confidence working unsupervised, managing your own workload
- Ability to translate complex technical issues into clear, simple language for customers
- Calm under pressure, with strong ownership and customer management skills
- Hands‑on support experience across modern technologies: Windows 10/11, MS Office 365 & Exchange, Active Directory, Apple OSX & iOS, Printer/Desktop hardware, Intune/Autopilot/ABM, Network skills, Servers, AP’s, UPS
