Little Ferns Early Learning Centre Canterbury is seeking an experienced ECE teacher ready to take the next step into leadership, or an established Team Lead looking for a new opportunity. We are currently reviewing our leadership structure and exploring potential movement within our existing team.
Little Ferns is a locally owned early learning centre in Rolleston with three learning spaces and a passionate team committed to creating a nurturing, engaging and welcoming environment for tamariki and whānau.
As a Team Lead, you would work alongside our Centre Manager, wider leadership team and kaiako to support the day-to-day running of your learning space, including:
- Providing positive and approachable leadership
- Supporting consistent teaching practices and expectations
- Guiding programme planning, assessment and intentional teaching
- Supporting and developing kaiako
- Building strong relationships with tamariki and whānau
- Contributing to centre-wide goals and ongoing improvement
We would love to hear from someone who is qualified and registered, organised, proactive and confident supporting others. Previous leadership experience would be an advantage, but we are also open to experienced teachers who are ready to take that next step.
