This is an exciting opportunity for an experience Early years Manager to join a Good Ofsted rated setting where we are proud to be developing happy and confident children in an engaging environment within the local community.
Little Elves Community Pre-School on Elvetham Heath, in Fleet, Hampshire, offers community based pre-schooling for children aged 2 years 6 months to 5 years old. Situated on the popular Elvetham Heath Estate, Little Elves Pre School was been established in November 2002 and grown steadily in size and reputation. In April 2011, Little Elves expanded into a new modern extension, providing twice the capacity, an all-weather outdoor play area and dedicated children's toilets, all to encourage free flow play and independence.
Manager Responsibilities - you will be required:
- To manage the Pre-School and the staff within the setting.
- To undertake the curriculum planning for the setting
- To run the daily sessions of the preschool
- To implement the daily routine in the room.
- To support the aims and objectives of the Setting in the organisation of a high quality establishment for children from 2 years 6 months to 5 years
- To provide high standards of childcare and education - to include the monitoring and reviews of Setting, this includes providing a safe, caring environment to enable the emotional, social and educational development of children, through individual attention and group activities;
- To direct and support staff.
Pay will be discussed at interview. Hourly rate starting from £18.11 an hour dependent on childcare qualifications and experience.
