Description
We are currently recruiting for a skilled and experienced Nursery Room Manager to be based in Greenwich. The role will lead and inspire our team of early years practitioners to deliver the highest care and education to all children. The nursery offers state‑of‑the‑art facilities, bright and spacious indoor rooms and fabulous outdoor areas.
Room Manager salary is up to 31,200K per annum, depending on experience, full time (40 hours per week), 5 days a week.
Qualifications & Experience
- At least 1 year’s experience in a Nursery Practitioner role or equivalent leadership position
- Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years childcare
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of the EYFS and statutory framework
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to use initiative to lead and inspire a team
- Passion shown in day‑to‑day interaction with children
- Flexibility and a strong role model attitude for the team
- Good time‑management skills and a passion to deliver the highest quality education and care
- Experience leading Ofsted inspections and a clear understanding of the EYFS
- Ability to build a culture of kindness, transparency and commitment in the role of a leader

- This position requires an Enhanced DBS Certificate and satisfactory employment references.
- All successful candidates will be required to undertake online safeguarding training and will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check.
