The predicted salary is between 27040 - 32000 £ per year.

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Nursery Practitioner to be based in our Beckenham Queens Road Nursery. The nursery offers state‐of‐the‐art facilities, combining bright and spacious indoor rooms with fabulous outdoor areas. You can earn up to £32,000 per annum, depending on experience, working full time (40 hours per week) – 4 days a week.

To be considered for the Nursery Practitioner role you must have:

  • Level 2/3 or above qualification in Early Years childcare
  • Excellent knowledge & understanding of the EYFS & Statutory framework
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to use your own initiative
  • Passion to be shown in your day‐to‐day interaction with children

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all areas of the EYFS and Statutory Framework are met at all times.
  • Ensure Safeguarding/Child Protection Policies and Procedures are implemented.
  • Provide a safe and stimulating environment for the children, taking children's individual needs into consideration.
  • Ensure the nursery offers an environment which reflects the cultural diversity of all children.
  • Follow Observation, Planning and Assessment Framework within the Little Elms Group.
  • Reflect on daily practise and identify areas for continuous improvement.
  • Build and maintain effective partnerships with parents.
  • Be the key person for a designated group of children (not applicable to relief or lunch cover).
  • Respond to, and report health and safety issues as and when they arise.
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness/tidiness within the nursery.
  • Carry out health and safety checks in line with Company Policy.
  • Follow control measures detailed within Company Risk Assessments.
  • Responsible for duties associated with the nursery playroom(s), such as maintaining children's records and any other duties as reasonably requested.
  • Adhere to all Company policies and procedures.
  • Meet deadlines as set by the Company.
